It started with Tibia. My first computer at six, a childhood taking the game’s servers apart in XML, Lua and, later, C++. By 11 I was one of four directors of XTibia, Brazil’s largest forum for alternative Tibia servers.
I am the son of two exceptional sellers. I paused my engineering degree after year one and went back to rescue my parents’ operation: from 30 thousand in the red to 100 thousand+ a month in revenue in six months. Code and business stopped being separate things.
Then I built GEEKS: a 6 m² kiosk that became a regional brand doing R$ 2MM+ a year. Before I turned 26, I lost it. Record sales, unsustainable operation, my mistake: I mastered the front line and neglected the back office. That scar taught me what no framework could: cash, margin and process decide before technology.
I pivoted myself, not the company. Consulting, demand-prediction ML, and with GPT-3.5 the future got obvious. Diagnosed with ADHD and giftedness at 16, I spent a life learning inside other people’s operations: forums, retail, consulting. Today that way of working has a name: AI forward deployed engineer.
Now it means AI systems in production: 293 thousand+ concierge conversations, 87% resolved without a human, a black friday that grossed R$ 40MM+ with AI-supported sales. Measured by the numbers of a real operation. Not prototypes.
